Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (DTIC) - Agro-Processing Support Scheme (APSS)

This is a cash grant of between 20% and 30% of the investment cost and can be used towards the following costs:

• Buildings or improvements to buildings. 
• New machinery and equipment, tools, and forklifts, at cost and will also include green technology, energy and resource efficiency equipment.
• New commercial vehicles that are used for commercial purposes linked to the production process. This includes vehicles such as collection, delivery and distribution vehicles.

Between 20% and 30% of the value of the asset purchase price is paid over a period of three years, subject to an inspection by the Department of Trade and Industry to confirm that the stipulated performance has been achieved.
